After New Yorkers fled to their second homes from the Hamptons to South Florida, they’re looking to make them their primary residence. The New York Times recently reported that home sales in several parts of Florida including Miami have also doubled due to rampant relocation. Buyers cite the lower cost of living, thriving economy, quality of life, tax incentives and warm weather.
